Google Voice Inbox (vs. History "Folders")

The VC Voicemail view shows the GV "History - Voicemail" folder. This seems backwards, and I think it should show the Inbox instead. The same problem exists for SMS.

I know this is a fundamental change to the application, and has a big impact, but it just seems backwards to me.

From a personal workflow perspective, I use the Inbox view in GV. after I "process" (respond too) my VMs and SMSs, I archive them, and strive for an empty GV Inbox. When using VC, I can't tell what I've handled, and what's new / needs to be handled, as it shows the archived and new items.

Often times, I archive items without reading them, so I'm getting a red circle with a number in it indicating the unread items, even though they're archived and not important.

I'd appreciate an option to show the inbox view of GV that contains both VMs and SMSs, and have a button to archive easily.
