iPod 4.2.1 update

Postby rick » Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:28 am

I updated my iPod to os 4.2.1 and now every time that I start VC the software updates. For some reason the update won't stick, because I can literally close the app, re-open it, and the update screen will start again.

Any ideas?

We had a support request unrelated to this where I saw repeated update attempts in the log file. He was able to resolve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling. Try following the uninstall instructions here:

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=201

Then reinstall:

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=200

Let us know if that works.
