Contacts importer downloading records not in "My Contacts"

Is there a way to get contact importer to only download numbers that i have listed as in "My Contacts" on google contacts?

For some reason there are a lot of duplicates in my addressbook, not sure if google or some other application i've run tried to do a merge in the past and didn't clean up after itself properly..

I think Google tries to use "My Contacts" as the preferred way for users to moderate what numbers get downloaded into their phone (on android you can set it to only download those numbers). Is downloading every entry in my addressbook an intentional feature, or a bug? :)

We had to do a little research on this one in order to answer accurately. Yes, we are able to grab only the "My Contacts" group and send only those contacts. Expect to see this change in the next release (v0.9.1).
