Process Automation Consultant
Description:
The Process Automation Consultant serves as a key member of the Customer Solutions team responsible for the implementation and customization of the technology products across large scale, distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with customer to deploy large scale, business critical solutions.
- Install and configure third party products/packages to meet customer solution.
- Customize and extend third party packages using published API based on customer needs.
- Debug low level network, Operating System, and application issues.
- Train customer in the use, administration, and customization of solution.
The successful candidate should possess:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and self motivation to work alone or as part of team.
- 3+ years experience working with workflow systems.
- 3+ years experience with application platforms such as: IBM Webshpere, BEA Weblogic, Jboss, and Apache Tomcat.
- 3+ years experience with at least 5 of the following languages/technolgies: Perl, C/C++, Java, Python, Visual Basic, .NET, XML, SOAP, Web Services.
- 3+ database experience (DML/DDL) with at least 1 of: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL.
- System administration and troubleshooting experience with at least 2 of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, and BSD.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting IP networks.
- General experience with enterprise software deployments and integrations.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Crystal Reports
- Help Desk System
